Subject: Spring Sale of Longhorn Calves

The Refuge will sell 20 longhorn bull calves and 12 longhorn heifer calves at the Stockman-Oklahoma Livestock Marketing, Inc. Auction in Apache, Oklahoma. Blackleg vaccines have been administered to all calves. The calves will sell on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 10 a.m.

The calves being sold were too young for the 2010 Wichita Mountains Longhorn Auction.

Apache is located about 25 miles north of Lawton, Oklahoma on Highway 62-281.
